DSPeaker is pleased to announce the new Anti-Mode 2.0 DualCore. Building on the success of the acclaimed Anti-mode 8033 sub-woofer correction device, the NEW DualCore now has two more powerfull Digital Signal Processing chips which considerably broaden the scope of the product.
The scope of the DualCore is now much broader, in addition to the original Anti-mode subwoofer correction, the DualCore can now act as a complete Signal processor with analog and digital inputs aswell as USB-DAC, with automatic room correction, EQs and volume control all in one remote controlled package.
This completely new room correction system enables automatic bass-correction on two full-range channels and fine tuning custom EQ settings on a state-of-the-art DualCore DSP. It is common knowledge that any listening environment suffers from standing waves and bass problems with any loudspeakers or subwoofers. In the recent years, one of the most succesfull and critically acclaimed room correction technology is the Anti-ModeTM by DSPeaker. Now, this technology has been refined and improved even further, and it can be insstalled on any kind of system consisting speakers or subwoofers. Even the large High-End loudspeakers can not escape the standing waves and room-influenced clumsy bass, but now their full capability can be unleashed by the automatic correction that adjusts them into the room with surgical accuracy.
Anti-Mode 2.0 DualCore offers a new generation fully automatic room correction, aswell as tools to manually design customizable parametric EQ functions. These EQ functions include fully parametric peaking, notching filters, lowpass and highpass filters. There are also simpler tools to quickly fine-tune the sub-bass using House-curves and controlling the overall frequency response with tilt-curves, for those who don't wan't to go too deep into the fully parametric filters. The inter-channel delays can be modified to ensure the coherent integration.
Anti-Mode 2.0 can be used also as a high quality USB or S/PDIF DAC, where a single output channels is being driven by Dual 6MHz oversampling multibit DACs. The output connectors consist of both gold-plated balanced XLRs and common RCAs. The new Anti-Mode can be used as a pre-amp with digitally controlled analog-resistor network volume controller (VSDVC). As any settings, the volume is controlled with remote controller. This implementation is beneficial and can accurately produce 120dB dynamics with minimal biasing error. In addition to the analog outputs, the unit supports Pure Digital mode in which it will take a digital stereo input (192kHz/24bit) and then output the room-corrected and processed signal into a digital output (Toslink S/PDIF).
Anti-Mode 2.0 DualCore also functions as a standalone room analyzer, being capable to single handedly measure the room response using the included prcision microphone, and show it on the built-in color TFT display. This gives the user the required knowledge that will help to find the optimal position and angle for the speakers, for example. It also makes it possible to instantly view the difference of the uncorrected and Anti-ModeTM room corrected frequency response, and of course the effect of any manually applied equalization setting.
The shipping of the Anti-Mode 2.0 DualCore will begin in the Q1/2012 to those that have been pre-ordered it. Once all pre-orders have been handled, the units will start to ship to local DSPeaker importers and resellers across the globe.
